Yes, well, I only ate them because I was told that both the cream cheese and Ritz were organic but I have to agree these humble appetizers served in the kitchen of my favorite Aunt's home were fairly dee-lightful, though I'm normally more of a transfat-free Triscuit devotee.
I have inside knowledge that one of the author's favorite snacks is a delicacy entitled "Cucumber Delites". While visiting at the Martha Burford House recently, Ms. Quick was served this appetizer and scarfed down two plates full! You need Ritz crackers, cream cheese and fresh cucumbers sliced thinly. The secret ingredient is lemon pepper sprinkled generously on top. You can find this rare and exotic spice at the dollar store in the 2 for $1 aisle. It's pretty much a party in your mouth! I think Diane Sawyer and the gang on GMA would have loved this taste sensation. Maybe Cucumber Delites can be served at the next "Honest Farm Happy Hour Market get-to-gether" with a fine wine or ice cold beer.

Sincerely, the Other Sister.

PS: You may have noticed Susie is not the only gourmet cook in the family!
