Hmmm. Reading about your produce is making me wish I lived a whole lot closer to Kentucky! Would you consider overnighting some of those wonderful fresh veggies to Virginia? I would cheerfully pay the shipping to treat my taste buds to some of your wonderful garden delights!

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha,
Obviously you have not read the story on Local Food is good for Everyone under ‘Sustaining.’ Local means shopping in your neighborhood, not ordering food (even if it is superior and delicious Honest Food) from the hinterlands. Although I wouldn’t mind the extra m-o-n-e-y for the farm one can get by padding shipping charges the Honest thing for you to do is to support your local farmers there in Virginia, of which there are many.
If you want to sample my ‘wonderful garden delights’
you’re just going to have to come for a visit. There will be fried chicken and lots of garden vegetables at the dinner table waiting.
Thanks for writing and for supporting your local farmers.
